This has got to be by far the best café in the Stanford-le-Hope/ Corringham area. All the food is cooked fresh and none of that cheap Richmond sausage type stuff you get in most places. There is a slight wait as everything is cooked to order but it's really worth it. Our order was taken straight away as always and with a smile. There's a downstairs and an upstairs as well as outside seating so plenty to choose from. This place also has it's own carpark and has access for disabled customers. I'm gradually working through the menu and can recommend the full breakfast and the avocado's and eggs on toast. However the burger's and omelette's are really nice as well. Overall, since I discovered this place I don't go anywhere else! The price is reasonable especially for fresh produce and a friendly atmosphere.

I wanted to share a quick bit of feedback. When I placed my order, the girl at the counter was really kind and helpful. I asked for the baguette with meat, and she said that would be fine. However, a guy passing by jumped in and insisted that the steak meat is only for meals with chips – no flexibility at all. Thankfully, the girl stayed friendly and offered me crispy chicken instead. I accepted, and in the end, it was absolutely delicious – juicy, fresh, and perfectly made. So despite the earlier inflexibility, I still want to thank that same guy for making such tasty chicken, and big thanks to the girl for being so warm and flexible. Best regards, Justina / JV
